As of July 1, 2023, newly issued Cuban passports will be valid for ten (10) years for Cuban citizens that are sixteen (16) years of age or older. For minors under sixteen (16) years of age, passports shall be valid for five (5) years.
The requirement of an extension every two (2) years is hereby eliminated for all passports, regardless of their date of issuance or validity period.
